Any update on the 15 Years of CD/Best of CD II book ("In production" runs the gamut and doesn't really say much)? This book's production status is record holding! BTW - Has the older posts regarding this thread been deleted? Thanks.

I personally don't have any updates, Brian might though. As far as posts being deleted, I don't think so. I typically only delete posts if they are spam or duplicate posts. I did combine two forum section at one point though so it may just be buried behind more recent posts.

Here is the update we emailed out in July:

We have THREE SETS of signature sheets currently traveling around the world, and they are now more than halfway done.

The book is completely designed and is being proofread. The page count came in at more than 800 pages, so this is going to be a very, very big book.

The proofreading process could be considered finished now, but we’ll send the pages out for a few more reads while we wait on the signature sheets, just to be safe. And paranoid.

We’re still hoping the signature sheets will be ready for the printer later this year, but the formal announcement of this project is still "on hold" until closer to publication. We want to be able to announce the book with a firm publication date, but we wanted to let you know we are still working on the project and it is still moving forward!

For those interested, we're working on shipping the big grab bag from the end of October now. This is gonna be a long process, so if you don't get your shipping notice right away don't worry we're still working on them.

Got a shipping notice for thiat. Can not wait to see what is in there. Haven't bought much this year as I have been working 2 jobs . 3 in the summer as my daughter wants to attend vet. School in 2 years when she gets out of high school and my wife is back in school working on finishing up her nursing degree.

Correct thread. Everything this year has been completely thrown off by the surprise (for us and everyone else) that was Gwendy. One of the books in the book club is actually shipping this week.

I'm assuming that you (CD) already had Gwendy on the schedule and were just surprised by the huge success Gwendy became. Is that correct Dan?

Gwendy did not *exist* back in January. It was a very late addition to the plan for the year and way more work than most people realize, I suspect.
