That's what I wanted to hear. I was getting a lil worried not receiving any emails about several books not being shipped yet: IT limited, The Woman limited and Dracula Limited.Originally posted by Dan Hocker View PostJust the gift editions, the traycases for the Limited's will not get here till the end of the week. If you ordered both a gift and a limited than your gift will not ship until the limited ships.
At least I know now that my Dracula one was one of the damaged copies. Or rather damaged traycases.

Also keep in mind that there are 2,000 orders for the Gift Edition to ship, so it'll be a little while for all of those to go out the door.

Our trade edition (and the signed trade edition from the early preorder promo) of The Woman will be shipping in January. It's already rolling at the printer, there just wasn't enough time for then to get it done this month.Originally posted by theenormityofitall View PostThat's what I wanted to hear. Yeah. But I just bet mine gets lost in the mail

I'm wondering why CD isn't waiting until after Christmas to ship the limited editions since there will be so many packages the post office will be dealing with? It seems the books could get easily lost during this time or even damaged? No sarcasm intended, just wondering, that's all....

I forgot....the books do indeed look great. Now that I've seen the Gift edition, I want it even more than I did before.
I like the looks of Grant limiteds so much I almost always buy the trade versions and the Gift/Artist versions as well. I can't think of a single Grant book that looked just ordinary.
I also used to hate books without dust jackets, but once I saw the limited of Desperation, I didn't really care if limited editions came with them or not. Besides, you don't have to worry about damaging the DJ if the book doesn't come with one.
