Correct, 4 books offered so far plus the 2 Not For Sale titles puts us at the half way point. We're discussing what to do for the other six selections because the books we had planned on using aren't as far into production as we'd like.

Our goal is to get your Book Club membership wrapped up in full this year with you seeing your FULL value out of the membership. Some of the books we wanted to use aren't going to happen this year because the authors are late on the manuscripts (although, you'll notice, we haven't announced those books yet -- it's almost like we've learned from past mistakes on that point!), so we've come up with a different way to make sure you get your money's worth and then some.

Same here, I just looked and out of all the in-stock books and preorders, there are only five that I don't have some sort of copy of, suppose I will get a gift certificate with my coupon code

Many of the titles won't be announced until the end of 2014 at this point. (That assumes the authors meet their new deadlines, too!) So until the manuscripts are in and the books are deeper into production, they won't be announced, which means it's possible this Book Club would still be unfinished in 2015 and we didn't want it to drag out that long.

The coupons are for a larger amount than you would have gotten, which hopefully helps. They are also good on books we offer from other publishers if you see one of those you want!

If you're not sure what you want to use them on, I would suggest your best bet would be to order Gift Certificates as you get the coupon codes:

When I was looking g at the production update page earlier it seems to be that you will be releasing 24 books before the end of the year. How do you plan on doing that and sleeping?

I suspect some of those will become 2014 titles just due to the number of weeks left in the year. We have to get through Doctor Sleep and then we can regroup. At that point, we'll figure out what's realistic and start posting updates on anything that is changing.

With Rick's passing how are you planning to work the signature sheet? Will it be blank or will it be signed by the artist? Did the same thing happen when Richard Laymon died? Just wondering how you guys handle a situation like this. On a happier note I just got an advanced copy of The Demon's Wife and I am enjoying the e book of Mr. October. Great writers contributed to this. Love the stories I have read so far.
