I had initially planned on the limited, but when I saw that he was going to sign the trade edition, I went ahead and opted for that one to save a few bucks. If past experience is any gauge, I’ll probably end up loving the collection and regretting the choice, but what’re you gonna do.Originally posted by Martin View PostI want this one. I only ordered the limited and still have quite the wait.Twitter: https://twitter.com/ron_clinton

It’s by noted science fiction artist, Richard Powers…he’s the one who did all of those surreal, abstract science fiction paperback covers back in the ‘50s and ‘60s.Originally posted by Ben Staad View PostThis may be a dumb question but what is the artwork on your twitter header? I am anticipating this one so much because of the strength of the stories in A Long December. I really enjoyed that collection.Originally posted by RonClinton View PostI had initially planned on the limited, but when I saw that he was going to sign the trade edition, I went ahead and opted for that one to save a few bucks. Hahaha, glad to help.Originally posted by jeffingoff View PostSaw it. And thank you for the distraction from the Suntup sale.
Speaking of which, last time I checked — about a half-hour ago — copies of the Numbered still remain. But look away, Jeff, and keep your eye on the (Strand) prize.Twitter: https://twitter.com/ron_clinton

I have been constantly refreshing the order page and praying that it sells out. I want it so bad. But I cannot keep going at $700. I would at $500. So if Paul's reading this and is in the mood to grant a pity credit to a pathetic addict I'll happily take it!Originally posted by RonClinton View PostHahaha, glad to help.

Also, Ron, would you be my Editions Addiction sponsor?

I would, of course, but I’m an admitted self-inflicted victim of chronic relapse. Trust me, I’m not the guy you want as a sponsor…I’m the guy you want to go out with to some sleazy bookstore and get book-drunk with.Originally posted by jeffingoff View Post

You're a great, witty, funny guy, Jeff. And a blast to hang out with I'm sure. You don't need a book nor pay stub to tell you that.Originally posted by jeffingoff View PostThanks for the positive spin, but Suntup's Rosemary's Baby is the one great book I want. I just need to look at a paycheck stub and remind myself who I am.
