Thanks Ozmosis. And that new site is just called The Grinder or The (Submissions) Grinder. It's small as yet but I imagine it'll grow pretty steadily.

Sinuses have been relentless as of late. I'm not sure what the new place is. I opted to pay the Duotrope price.

Thanks Ozmo. How's the sinus headache thingy? Has it let up yet? What's the name of the new markets place something with 'grinder' in the name?

Hi all. This is only my second post in these forums, but I thought I'd take advantage of anything that's labeled "Self-Promotion."

I've had my first "flurry" of stories come out in the past few weeks. Issue #6 of Shock Totem features my story "Orion." Issue #6 of One Buck Horror has my story "Pretend." And the debut issue of Crowded Magazine features "The Anything Cloak." Exciting, but now my to-be-published pile is suddenly only two stories deep!

Congratulations to all who posted above in this thread in recent months. I'll try to snag a few of your books soon.

My seventh novella is finished. Yay! Now on to the Warlock story. Then the Rat story. Then I'll be caught up and can work on re-typing all my old stuff back into the new hard drive. It never ends. I love this job.

I had to take a break from my asylum piece 15k and growing and write a tiny little zombie tale. (1741 words) Someone at open markets went through this shpil about wanting horror "literature" and I thought to myself, I thought that's what we're all trying to produce with every story we write. Anyway I figured that this teeny-weeny zombie tale may just have crossed the ubiquitous threshold of literature but I wouldn't know a good horror story from horror literature if it bit into my ass with zombie molars. Anyway I'm quite pleased with how this one turned out... and I swore I'd never jump on this "zombie" bandwagon everyone seems to want to produce something for. I guess I'm a zombie sellout now. Booooooo!

Howdy folks. Brand new here, but I figured I would shamelessly promote my new book.

"What if Philip K. Dick and Hunter S. Thompson had collaborated on The Walking Dead?"

NYC has two renewable resources: Attitude and sleazy politicians. Now, one politician has ushered in the end of the world. A councilman kills a hooker with his genitals. From that shocking sexual dalliance is spawned a super parasite that transforms its victims into ravenous monsters -- and it's loose on the streets of New York. There are worse things than zombies out there. Who will survive this apocalypse?

"With INFECTED, there is a bold new voice howling in the post-apocalyptic wasteland. William Vitka brings serious game to the genre in a way that revitalizes while it terrifies." - Jonathan Maberry, New York Times best-selling author of ASSASSIN'S CODE and DUST & DECAY

"INFECTED is charmingly perverse, vivid and thrilling. It feels like Philip K. Dick's delicious hate letter to JJ. Abrams." - Cherie Priest, award-winning author of BONESHAKER and GANYMEDE

    Get INFECTED here, on Amazon.

I'll be hanging with the Werepig tonight at 9pm, tripping over my words with my awful Seth Rogan-esque voice. Stop by and give a listen. He's a damn good man.

I self-publish these stories for my own children, but kids of all ages seem to enjoy them. So if anyone would like to check them out...
