This is a great contest. I'm new to this. Just read my first Stephen King book. All of these writers are really good. I'm an elderly women and i relate to the Dark Caller. Gave me goose bumps......................Yikes!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Wow, second place with an old odd story. I'll settle for that if this is how it ends.

From first to third in a heartbeat. Oh well. It was fun, and happy to have gotten a story in at the last minute. Cheers to the leader. And good luck!

The story "In the Trenches by blasko66" was pulled from the contest by it's author. If you voted for "In the Trenches by blasko66" please feel free to cast you vote elsewhere. I'll let the author explain why he pulled his story.

Seconded. In the end if you write, you do it for the love of writing. Coming first would always be a bonus, but coming second or third or fourth, fifth, six still makes you smile that someone read it. Considering no one has no votes, there's at least one person out of that band of 126 voters who liked your story best. Accentuate the positives.

Alright, the author said I could spill the beans. Congratulations goes out to blasko66 as his story got accepted into an anthology, which is why he asked for it to be pulled for the contest.
