      That was really interesting. I sort of try to write, and I tend to weave in the death of a parent a little too frequently. Of course, in different ways. Doesn't that just limit me to have people say, "Good lord, she's writing about her dead mom again"? I guess it doesn't matter if the story is good, right?
      "What shall I say when my lord comes a calling? What shall I say when he knocks on my door? What shall I say when his feet enter softly? Leaving the marks of his grave on my floor."
