Excellent. I'm still waiting for a chance to watch this one. My wife is insistent on not watching this until she is caught up on the series but she is failing to catch up on the series. LOL

Ralph Fiennes needs to win an Oscar for his crazy performance, and Jack O'Connell was wonderfully creepy as the satanic Sir Lord Jimmy Crystal. I enjoyed it a lot more than the last film (Which I liked a lot), and I'm really hoping that they follow through with the third film in the new trilogy. My son thought it was "a little too weird", and my wife, who loved the last film, slept through a lot of this one, and had no opinion, lol.Looking for the fonting of youth.

I saw Undertone the other night, which, while I would give it points for effort, overall it just didn’t work for me.
It had a definite Paranormal Activity feel to it, but using audio tapes rather than video tapes.
However, unlike Paranormal Activity (the first one, at least), which stuck the ending, Undertone certainly did not.
Interesting concept, but a flawed execution.

Saw Project Hail Mary last and I thought it was great.
Glad I read the book a couple of weeks ago, as there were certainly some aspects that were glossed over (or completely left out) of the movie. Understandable when adapting a 500 page novel into a 2.5 hour movie.
On the other hand, the movie doesn’t bog down on some of the scientific minutiae that at times hinders the book. At a 2.5 hour run time, I never got antsy, as I usually do with most 2+ hour movies.
I thought Gosling was very good in the lead, and most of the supporting cast was very good as well, especially Sandra Huller.
Don’t want to say too much about the plot, for those that haven’t read the book or seen the movie.
Easily the best movie I’ve seen so far this year.

Thanks for the review. I may give this one a shot. I hadn't read the book but have heard enough about the story to have a general idea on the plot.
