I watched a sci fi flick called 3022. It wasn't bad at all but it was dark and grim. The redemption was in the ending but it felt incomplete. 2.4 out of 5 stars.

The 2nd movie I watched was Bright Burn. Decent movie which didn't really deliver as a fully fleshed out story. I had the strong sense they ended this thinking they were going to make a sequel. 3 out of 5 stars.

I saw BRIGHTBURN a few weeks ago, and I enjoyed it. I was surprised they didn't get sued by DC Comics, since there have been so many similar takes on "What if Superman was a dick?" in the comics. It was fun for what it was.

I watched THE BOYS FROM BRAZIL the other night, which I haven't seen since I was maybe 10 years old, so I remembered nothing but the plot twist and the ending, lol. Both bad things to remember, but I still enjoyed the film. Powerful, and still relevant today. Lawrence Olivier & Gregory Peck both delivered powerhouse performances. If you've never seen it, so yourself a favor...

Last night I rewatched the new JURASSIC WORLD film...We took my Uncle to see it after a family reunion on the 4th of July weekend, and I had to escort him to the bathroom halfway through, so I missed a huge setpiece with a Pteranadon, which has been eating away at me for four months. (My wife's recap of the 15 minutes I missed when I got back to the theater: "This big bird ate the black guy." Gee, thanks.) Fun film, with a lot of dino-action. Nothing new or groundbreaking, but a decent time if you like this sort of thing, which I do.

I was surprised this movie was allowed to be made for that reason. Maybe whomever owns the rights to Superman had a piece of this.

I followed your lead and did this last night. 9:20 pm showing which is late for me but had a blast. Almost empty theater but there where a few teenagers there. It was pretty cool seeing them into the movie, laughing along with the jokes, and having a great time.

Going to the theater and watching this was pretty magical. I'm glad you pointed this out and I had an opportunity to go do this.

Had a blast as this has always been one of my favorite movies, if not my all-time favorite, and I had never seen it on the big screen prior to this as I was a tad too little at the time that it was released. Had so much fun watching this and even got a free poster!

We used some free movie tickets that we had accumulated to go see PREDATOR: BADLANDS today. Fun film, one of the better in the franchise. Elle Fanning was great as dual synthetics, and the main Predator character was interesting, since we get to actually hear him talk (In subtitles) and see his culture. Dan Trachtenberg has been doing good work with the franchise through his three films, and I'm eager to see where he goes next. I know it's a pipe dream, but I'd love to finally see Arnold and Danny Glover get together....

I've had THE DEAD DON'T DIE on my watchlist for years, and after hearing my son and his roomie rave about it, I watched it last night. Didn't do anything for me, unfortunately....Very low-key and laughless, and the breaking of the fourth wall really annoyed me. Bill Murray and Adam Driver were fun, but overall I'd rate this pretty low.
