Just read that Disney has pulled the plug on this film.

I’ve definitely heard - on both.

They were about two weeks away from the beginning of filming. I’m disappointed because after talked to David at ECCC I was really excited about this project.

At least, by the sounds of things, other studios are expressing interest.

Yeah, the report that I read said that Disney was letting them shop it to other studios, so hopefully something will be worked out quickly.

Hopefully someone will pick it up. Can't say I am surprised. It sounds like it would be pretty expensive to produce.

I suspect that, since they own Marvel Comics, Lucasfilm, and Fox, and all the characters/concepts/movies that were already under the Disney banner, they're cutting anything and everything that they don't own outright from their schedule. Keep all of that sweet
profit in-house.
