9pm CST (7pm PST) sounds good to me. I'll check back here right before 7 my time and make sure we're good to go.
-
Let's aim for a 9pm CST start, hopefully it's not too late to get the word out. And it might make it easier for people to get together. If no one is here around then. I'll wait until the recently arranged time of 10 and kick off then. I'll try to get it better planned for next time.

Just sent you a PM. I hadn't realized that you would be making it for sure. I need your gmail address.

Last minute possible change, as it seems it will just be Bugen, Daninsky and I this time, can we push it back until 10pm CST (or 8 PST)?

D.O.A. (1950) - Directed by Rudolph Maté, written by Russell Rouse and Clarence Greene (story and screenplay)
“I don’t think you fully understand, Bigelow. You’ve been murdered.”
vlcsnap-error048.png
At the outset a man walks into a police station to report his own murder. While half of everyone he met has lied to him, our womanizing anti-hero has hurled himself around L.A. trying to figure out who killed him and why. Eventually his panic settled into resolve as the clock ran down and one thing became clear: when a man has nothing left to lose and has not yet resigned himself to death, best stay out of his way.
D.O.A. is a rocket and a damned-fine film.
5- stars

Last heads up for those that want to join, we are watching Big Heat tomorrow and will be communicating by chat using Google Hangouts (Gmail account needed). If you wish to join PM me and I will add you to a group chat. If you're uncomfortable using Hangouts please feel free to watch and discuss here on the board, during or after the film. I will try to keep watch here as well.

I really enjoyed Raw Deal. I think you may see a similarity, at least in one scene, between it and Big Heat on Wednesday.

Raw Deal is an amazing movie. Film noir has hazy, difficult, even undefinable edges. This one drives right down the center.

Glad you liked Gun Crazy! I've heard of Pickup on South Street, but never seen it. Reminds me a bit of another movie, Shack out on 101 with Lee Marvin.
For those wanting to join send me a PM with your gmail address and I will make a chat group.

It's true noir when your heroes are unwitting couriers selling U.S. secrets and low-level pickpockets beating up dames. And there's a helluva fistfight at the end.
Pickup on South Street was fantastic.
