Joe Haldeman's - The Forever War - coming to the big screen

Looks like Ridley Scott is taking this story to the movie screen. Bound to be good - Scott always seems to do well in sci-fi.

I have NOT read the book - but I will be looking for it soon if I can find it for cheap.

Anyone here ever read it? Your thoughts?

I'm down for anything Ridley Scott does. Haven't read the book, so I might have to track it down sooner rather than later.

I would agree for sure - Ridley Scott is pretty much a given it will be well done.
