Dig Quinten's work, disliked Inglorius Bastards though so hope this one is better

        I'd rank his films:

        1. Pulp Fiction
        1. Inglorious Basterds
        3. Kill Bill vol. 2
        4. Jackie Brown
        5. Kill Bill vol. 1
        6. Resevoir Dogs

And just for the record, I love Resevoir Dogs! Really looking forward to Django Unchained.

That's probably pretty close to what I would have ranked them, though I haven't seen Resevoir Dogs or Jackie Brown. I probably would've put Kill Bill vol 1 in front of vol 2.

It's the pasketti western freak in me I think.

I thought the tone overall was more consistent in vol.2 and the final showdown between Beatrix Kiddo and Bill was epic. Only QT would have the balls to end a violent action saga with a 40-minute dialog on honor, loyalty, peanut butter sandwiches and Superman--and have it be better than the previous 3 1/2 hours.

Good point, I think the lover of the asian culture in me, is why I liked the first one better.

Valid reason for choosing 1 over 2. The anime sequence was stunning. But if he had filmed that live action, he might have been crucified...

The original Django was awesome. The opening scene with a lone figure in a long black coat dragging a coffin behind him is absolutely beautiful.

I'd Go reservoir dogs, pulp fiction, Jackie brown, basterds. Hated kill bill altogether.

The local paper gave the trailer 5 stars and said to check it out. This does look awesome. So I am very behind on movies and still need to see the Kill Bill movies. My TBW pile is higher then my TBR pile.

My TBW pile is almost non existant unless you count older films that I never saw. Mase and I are having trouble finding things to watch. Its horrible. Lol.

My TBW is hopelessly bigger than my TBR pile, but I keep plugging away at it.
