I know the large publishers do not like these type of novels but I for one love them. I will be picking up The Silent attic to learn more of the story.Comment

Thanks for all that insight. I know authors hate to be asked, "where do you get your ideas?," but every story does have a seed to begin it and I really like hearing about the process. Maybe the story ends up being something totally different than that initial seed, but there is an idea nontheless, and it does have to be sparked. It's not just an immaculate concept. Something or someone sparks that idea. Every story has a story on how it became what it is.
