Looks like James Patterson has done it again, wrote a book to cut it right off in the middle to make you invest in the next book a year from now. Of course its a tactic used to some degree by many authors to chain books and particular characters but Patterson is one of a kind and maximizes this as much as possible. At least most authors respectfully try to close the story. And not even starting on how he doesn't write almost 95% of the work.

God I really despise this guy, just have to vent. He makes close to the highest gross revenue behind 50 shades porn queen EL James. On one hand, its great that people read and invest in books but its sad to see the same people that sit high on the revenue list. Thank goodness that there are several literary awards that at least try to get some PR to some real treasures in modern literature.

One author I read ended book 2 in a trilogy on a literal cliff hanger. The next book didn't come out for two years.

Got an e-mail from easton press, and now it's got me debating purchasing The Fall of Arthur, but then I found out Harper Collins released a "deluxe" slipcased one, that would be the first edition. I do hate ordering through Easton, it's freaking strange to do it in Canada, and the last time I got a book from them it was the worst packaging a had ever seen. But I just love their books. They just look great on the shelf.
