Trying one of my Christmas gifts. The Soda Stream homemade soda maker. Root Beer flavor.

Not bad, I guess. Tastes like root beer. Instructions say 3 blasts with the carbonator is for normal fizz. Will have to try 10-12 blasts next time as 3 blasts is NOT normal fizz.

I remember having a Sodastream machine back in the early '80s in Ireland. I do remember pushing the carbonate button until it wouldn't force any more CO2 in there. I think the orange flavor was my favorite. Back then it was a cheap way to enjoy soda, which cost more per fl oz than beer back then.

Well i have decided to go ahead and self-publish a small story (just over 16,000 words). I'm going to print copies in aid of thedarktower.org 's annual Haven Foundation fundraiser. The story is actually edited and finished (finally) so i'm just waiting on the other 4 pieces of artwork from Glenn Cgadbourne to go with the front cover
