Hey everyone, been gone for a while and thanks to everyone who sent messages of concern. Just like everyone else, problems are getting me down. I hope I can spend more time on here soon.

I'm killing some time before an appt later this afternoon. I went into a thrift store I've been frequenting lately and to my surprise found a copy of Christine by Stephen King, brand new, perfect condition, still in shrink wrap. I paid $1 for Christine.

If it’s in shrink wrap, chances are high it’s a bookclub edition...that’s a common hallmark of bookclub editions, and regular trade editions rarely, if ever, are packaged as such.

For reading purposes, sure...for collecting, no, bookclub editions have no worth. Then again, it only cost a buck. :-)

I'm on the road right now-Don't go back to the park until Monday. I won't open it until than, I don't want to damage it. I like that I found it still shrink wrapped. Cap

It can't get much more random than this, I think I put something extra in my coffee this morning. Sometimes I feel like an Old Dragon, reclining, not on a hoard of gold, but of books, thousands and thousands of books. And they tell me all their secrets.....I know, I know, at least part of that is true LOL!!!
