Agreed. I think the redundancies are critical. Sounds like he was asking questions, getting excuses and accepting them.

How awful. Chuck is such a good guy. I'm sure he only wanted to see the best in people. He is much beloved so hopefully he will be fine. Such a shame!

Luckily since they seem to have caught the thief I'm sure he'll get at least some of that money back. Hopefully he hasn't burned any bridges with his publisher and the movie rights / payments people.
