    What to read next

Trying to decide what I will bring with me when I go on a week long vacation up north at a cabin a few hours from where I live. Making the decision of what to bring seems more difficult this year for some reason. Here are some of the books that I am contemplating. Some of these I know I will bring with, and some I may end up reading before I go up depending on how my reading of the 3 books I need to leave reviews for goes. Most likely I will end up starting and finishing one of the shorter books while I am on the way up, though I may listen to an audio book instead.

Joyland will be a good vacation read. I haven't read The Strain, but now seems like the best time, before you watch the show and get any spoilers.

Lullaby For the Rain Girl is a fantastic book - For me it was a story that hits the reader on an emotional level. Blue November Storms is a very cabin appropriate read!

I won't be able to watch The Strain anytime soon since I don't get that network. Debating between Joyland and TWTTK/ Going to bring one of them for sure. Leaning more toward Joyland though because it weighs less and I will have enough other books adding to the weight

Emotional, huh? Likely will not bring it then as I likely won't get into it emotionally while at the cabin with family members coming and going. Blue November Storms is one that I will likely bring with though, it is the last book of Freeman's I have that I haven't read (other than the trivia books).

You know, this is one of those cases where an e-reader seems like a really good idea.

I do have an eReader, which will be coming with too, but never will that be my main way of reading, whether at home or on vacation

The Srain series is excellent. Also The Rising is super and fast paced. Both are good summer reads.Vampiric is a great book. Lots of great choices but those are three that I would bring.

Well, here is what I am bringing with to read. Read Tyler's Third Act yesterday and forgot I'd already read a couple of the others. I know I will not read all these since I also have stuff to read on my Kindle, but it's good to have choices. Decided it is probably safer to read The Exorcist at home. Of course now that I think about it, I am tempted to bring it for a another choice, lol Jurassic Park was on TV here recently, which made me want to read the books
