Ok, kids, who out there plays or has kids that play Minecraft on the pc? I don't see it for sale on Amazon. Is it a direct from the company purchase? I found what looks like a free download but a) I don't trust the site I found that on and b) would rather pay if it's not supposed to be a free download. Thanks.

Hey Brad. I saw your posts on Facebook and some of your concerns. I play a ton of Minecraft, all be it a much more complicated version than your kids would be interested in at this point. It is a great game for kids, it will make them think and be creative. The big concern is playing with other people. For that I would say no online multiplayer, with a little supervision should be pretty easy to enforce. If they want to play together you can actually open up a single player game to allow other people on the same network to play with you, so this lets people in the same household play together without going over the internet. The other option would be to rent a private minecraft server for them to play on. This is the company I use they are reliable and have really good customer service.
