    Roll Call

I'm just curious how many members we still have around the boards. I think we are a pretty small group these days.

If you are a lurker feel free to say, "Hi.".

Hello, I am Ben. I actively started collected in 2004 (I think) but over the last few years as the prices have increased I have greatly reduced my purchases. Initially my interest was solely 1st 1st's of SK but then I was introduced to Grant, CD, DRP, Sub Press, Centipede, Earthling, BP, and for about a decade I purchased a variety of titles and authors.

These days I don't exceed 1-4 fancy editions per year but still like purchasing signed PB's, chaps, and still actively read.

I'm still on the forum and am a lurker as well. I usually check daily if I have time but don't post unless something truly interests me or if I have something to communicate.

I'm here! Don't have a lot of time to post, but I enjoy reading what everyone else has to say.

I'm still hanging around and check in almost daily. I go through sporadic bursts of posting, then tend to drift off again. I, also, have cut back quite a bit on my purchases over the last few months, so that has also contributed to less posts. I still really enjoy the community, though!

I’m still here and check in every day or two. I definitely get the “small group” vibe…there must be fewer than a dozen members these days who are even minimally active, which is too bad.

I think I will take the under on the dozen.

Not sure if I would qualify as still here or not. I have been here since Dan launched this little side project but to be honest, I burned out with CD and have chosen to stay quiet. I check the site every few weeks and occasionally post but mostly just read a few posts and fade back into my corner. Actually, logged in today because I was surprised to see a pending shipment of the AE edition of The Stand in my inbox. Was very active in the past and before stopping had a large portion of my collection in my collector's thread. These days I primarily focus on two publishers' (Lividian and Suntup). Oddly enough I still spend just as much money as I did in the past but receive far fewer books. Still have a bunch of CD titles on order and may someday receive some of them. My oldest outstanding pre-order is a title that was then called "Shocklines: Fresh Voices in Terror". Not so fresh anymore as it was ordered 02/23/2007.

                  Until next time, take care!

I'm still around and still buying plenty of books.

At the same time, I'm going through the books in the attic and donating many, many boxes of books to our local library's book sale. We're planning on retiring soon, and if we sell the house (which I want to) I don't want to have to move or store thousands of books.

Here's what's on order at the moment. There are a couple of duplicate orders that I'd forgotten I ordered and didn't check the spreadsheet before clicking on an order link.

I'm glad to hear and see from each and every one of you!

Dave, That is quite a list you have there. Love it. Now CD needs to clear some of those out for you.

At least The Stand AE is on the way!

I'm also waiting to see if Haffner Press ever publishes that Robert Bloch book. I'm glad I didn't pay for the $175 LE, because $55 is enough for a first purchase from a publisher that hasn't even sent an update in almost six years.

Hot damn. I wish I would have held strong on not cancelling that one.

On another note thanks for pointing out that Laird Barron title. I had forgot all about that press and book. Any idea when that is supposed to publish?

                              Inching closer to 12!

                              I’m in the same boat.

I usually check the forum daily, but only post about once a week, if that, usually when I’m starting or finished a book or recently saw a movie.

I do find this forum, even though it is small, to be a great source of information, especially about new & upcoming releases (the latest Ghost Box release being a case in point).
