    RIP Horror Author Gary Brandner

    The author of The Howling and it's sequels has passed away from cancer of the esophogus on 22Sept. He was 80.

    Another horror legend has left us. Rest in Peace good sir. Job well done.

    No. I am shocked.Seems we are loosening a lot of the masters in a very short period. A sad day indeed.

      I hadn't heard of him, but I loved the film The Howling, one of the best werewolf movies of all time, right up there with the original Wolfman. He will be missed, RIP.

        Sad to hear that. I always liked his books, and bought the recent limited edition reissue of The Howling a few years ago.

            I have never read anything by him, but wow with the losses in the horror genre lately. RIP
