Looking for feedback on Artwork Portfolios

Now that it was announced, my disapointed was that it will match 3 of the edition's that I DONT have. Never liked that the slipcased was a different color but I wanted the slipcased limited rather than a trade edition since I couldn't afford the Signed editions. Now they just won't match

This is a very nice collection, but I will pass. I can't spend that much now, nor do I have the cash to spend, as I am trying to save for other things coming up hopefully.

I guess I will be TRYING to hold on to my gift certificate for a long time too. I wish the dark man contest was over BEFORE the dark man was announced.

I can tell you that, unless some kind of amazing surprise lands on my desk, there won't be another signed SK limited announced by CD this year. Not sure when the next one will be, but spring of 2014 seems like the VERY earliest. Nothing firm is in the works.

Now I'm running through spreadsheets and tables and stabbing away at the old calculator trying to think if I could upgrade the "limited savings" into "lettered savings".

I'm still on trying to decide... A few months back I decided I would save up my cash and maybe get another signed limited King from CD when they release another book... This would kind of blow through those savings pretty fast though...

Usually I only get a few hours early notice on things and was surprised when I came back later but it still wasnt announced. I didn't understand the ribbon thing until I saw the legacies case. I have one complaint that i will make after the announcement...and its not the price but i am glad i had my gift cert tho.

You got me. I actually didn't know we where making these until we started sending out the early announcement notes. For those that don't get the early announcements I "think" the plan is for them to hit the regular newsletter early next week. Brian should know for sure, and can probably confirm if / when he sees this.

Yep, the plan is for the official announcement to go out on Monday in the newsletter. We want to make sure that customers who bought the book the artwork is from, members of the CDCC, and some past customers who bought related items have first shot at this one because it's selling really quickly.

Picture one of our nicer traycases -- like Legacies -- and you're headed in the right direction for the style of the box!





It's going to be VERY nice. With the amount of artwork included (100 pieces!), a regular folder/portfolio would have done more harm than good when it came to protecting the artwork.
