Story I.D. requested for older Ramsey Campbell tale...

I read a story decades ago in, I think, ALONE WITH THE HORRORS (a Arkham House title I no longer have, but really need to replace one of these days) that featured, as near as I can recall, a decapitated head pulling itself along (and up stairs? ...maybe a basement?) with its tongue. I'd really like to know if that story is in the Vol. 1 of MASTERS OF THE WEIRD TALE that I just received, but don't have any immediate plans to read this volume (yet) to find out. It's one of the few Campbell stories I remember (well, loosely speaking, I suppose) as I find his distinct style relatively effective at the time I experience it, but it's one that for whatever reason doesn't make his stories particularly memorable for me.

Does anyone know to which story I'm referring?
