I am not trying to take any customers from good old CD as none of these are available from CD. Rather just a tip I had posted under one of the book titles and thought I should share in the open for anyone who has a Kindle, or reads via ebook (you can download Kindle on almost anything now). Amazon runs daily deals on usually four books (mainstream, Sci-fi/Fantasy/Horror, romance and Young Adult). These deals usually last only until midnight PST at which time they replace with others. The price is usually either 99 cents or $1.99 a book. Many times there is nothing there, but occasionally there are some really good deals on books that could appeal here. For example Joe Hill Heart Shaped Box was recently $1.99. I picked up Odd Thomas for $1.99 (never read the series). Today I just picked up Neil Stephenson's Anathem for $1.99 (that runs until the end of this week I think). Today (2/25/2013) there is Alen Dean Foster under the Fantasy section. All can be found by going to Amazon Kindle/ebooks/Daily Deal - Nothing is better than having a quality book (ideally signed) on the shelf. But for the fast readers or folks who just want to sample new writers, this is a way to go.

Would have hated to crack the spine on the signed copy but was getting tempted to read it one day, now I have it ready to go.
