So Dan, how are you liking the new GTA?

It's a good game. That said pretty much the only reason I'm playing it is for GTA Online. If it was just a single player experience like all the other have been I probably would not have gotten it.

Is it kinda like playing with legos?

Then this is a good example of "Survival" game play. Though survival mode is very indepth and is a bit different than this since these guys play the xbox version.

Speaking of cursing at the tv. I could not stop laughing at this. Fair warning though there is a lot of cursing in this.

Yup, Demons Souls all the way. Actually, I just started downloading Demons Souls as its one of the free games for ps plus this month! WIN!

I just got the "reboot" of Need For Speed: Most Wanted. The lack of a manual was disappointing; the on-screen manual is pretty useless. And eliminating the story line is a disappointment too. I guess I should have researched it more.

Also disappointing: the only thing you need to do to get new cars is find them out in the world and get in them. Whoo. This isn't GTA!

On the plus side, it looks great, and you can go really fast. I just wish there was a bit more structure to it. It would have been nice to have a garage or home base where you could tweak your cars without using the "on the fly" menu (sure, I'm barreling down the road at 120 mph; let me just install some new parts while I'm at it!).

I'm sure I'll enjoy it once I give it more time, but I'm guessing I'm not going to love it.

Speaking of difficult games as Dan mentioned - did anyone here every play Demon's Souls? I kept hearing that people would return the game because it was too hard!

I was thinking of picking it up on the cheap now, but not sure if their servers are even still running.

I loved it. It's old school - back when you had to learn a game, what to do, what to avoid, the hard way - not have everything served to you so that you'd feel almighty and powerful, fly through the game and go on to the next one. So yeah, it is a bit hard when compared to games nowadays, but for me that was the fun part. Plus, cursing at the tv is always fun.

I am intrigued by the game, but not into the RPG too much. May give it a go though.

I've never played either, but Dave has, and as he said it's a lot of fun as long as you don't mind dying a lot.

Pretty sure the servers are still up. There's two different ones. Demon Souls and Dark Souls, Dark Souls be a "sequel that's not really a sequel". Both equally difficult.

You are referring to the DayZ Mod correct? Not the stand alone version.

Yea I don't think the stand alone version is out yet.
