A couple years ago I was browsing through a local used bookstore, looking at the stuff in the glass cases and came across a signed 1st Edition/1st Printing hardcover of Neil Gaiman's NEVERWHERE. I had no idea the worth, but I love the story and it's in great condition. They only wanted $35. Sold!
Cool endpapers.
1st Edition/1st Printing.
Cool inscription (not to me, of course), and signature.
This was my very first proof - and of a book that had not yet been released, no less! From Subterranean Press, SONGS OF THE DYING EARTH, STORIES IN HONOR OF JACK VANCE.
An impressive list of contributors, including Neil Gaiman.
The signed, limited, slipcased edition Subterranean Press,of SONGS OF THE DYING EARTH, STORIES IN HONOR OF JACK VANCE, from Subterranean Press. This is #94 of 500:
This is not signed nor limited, but it was not available in the U.S. when it was first published. ODD AND THE FROST GIANTS was a small book originally given away to schoolchildren in the U.K. Knowing how much I enjoy Gaiman, a friend in England sent it to me.
