Booty from another successful ebay sniping mission: King Rat by China Mieville.

I first noticed this book on the Earthling Publications website for $85, but it was sold out. I'd looked on the secondary market, but the prices wanted were astronomical! So I put it on the back burner. Then I came across a listing for it on ebay--the highest bid was $14.11 w/2days to go. I figured there must be something wrong with it, but the description didn't mention anything. So I watched it and won it for $30 (much lower than what I bid)! I figured I could return it if it wasn't as advertised, but it arrived today, and it's a brand new edition of the book!

Maybe Bev Vincent who has been writing about king for a long time for CD. Also maybe Lilja?Squire I love that copy of The Revelation.It is a good read.That is not a book club edition is it?I have not seen many hard cover books of his that were not book club editions.Could never understand that.

It was the single book by "Two of our favorite SK experts" thing. Doesn't matter. It sounds plausible.

No. It's got a full numberline and a price of 17.95 on the inside front flap. The Half-price books that I go to has three or four others of his that are BCEs. But I passed them up.

Another package today, fram an ebay seller. Not an auction, but just a BiN item. I'd never seen it before so I thought I'd get it.

A edition of Cycle of the Werewolf made for libraries that never made it to a library (no remainder stamps). I bought it because it was an HC and I didn't have an HC of the book. I have a 1st/1st of the trade pb and I plan on getting the LoE HC eventually, but I thought this would do in the meantime.

It's a 22nd printing and for $50, I'm not sure it was worth it, but it is in great shape. The seller at 2 of 'em.

Very cool on the Cycle of the Werewolf. I bought the trade pb when it first came out, but a hardback would be so much nicer!!
