I have The Snowman's Children for my Kobo - haven't got to it yet though. Does this story not take place in Detroit?

Yes, the story takes place in Detroit. This book is one of my favorites. I highly recommend it.

Very good writer. Check him out even if only an ebook for now, Do it. He is awesome.
