Cold Killing is the debut novel. True there are so many crime series and I gravitate more to thrillers and be very selective. I was looking at Carter but I think he may be too graphic for my liking.

Carter is great. He's come up with some interesting ways to kill people. Definitely graphic but then his main character is supposed to be investigating the worst of LA's serial killers.

That is one of his books (KPB) that I really want to grab soon. Love his stuff, and this edition looks fantastic!
