      Some new additions arrived Friday:

Brian Keene's Castaways, bound in burlap, Bloodletting Press:

I don't know why, but I've come to love unique or textured endpapers.

Couldn't really get a good picture, but it had some nice interior art, and even more black and white art throughout.

Dean Koontz's Demon Seed, first UK edition, signed. This is the re-written version from 1997.

Nice Koontz, had no idea the revised was done in hardcover anywhere.

I don't think the original was ever printed in hardcover, but I think there's a US hardcover of the revised edition too. Read the original, and liked it enough, and this copy wasn't too expensive so I figured what the hell, why not?

The Keene book looks really cool. I am imagine it was a real bitch to bind the books in burlap though.

^That's why I picked it up. It's my first Keene book. I tried The Rising a few years back, but couldn't get into it. I'm going to give it another shot though.
