Lol terry. By the way the specialist also decided to just drug the problem instead of sending me for tests even though that's why I didn't want to keep seeing my family doctor about it. I gotta go back in a month. To see if the drugs work. I ended up having to get 4 prwscirptions filled at once. Thank god I have a medical plan.
Oh how I am glad Canada is practically the US we just have free healthcare and less violence(maybe not so much anymore). Thank god for that or I'd never have enough money for books specially after seeing a specialist in an hour. Wish me luck boys. Ughhh. Off I go
Not for maybe 15 years now (give or take) - you can still get HC's, but mostly only through specialty books sellers or bargain basement places (although they have nothing that I want to read anyway ). No one out here wants to pay $45 - $60 for a HC anymore, not when you can get the larger PB's for $25 Anyways, I don't care, cos I get all my stuff offshore, so Australian reading habits (with the off exception on this illustrious forum) can continue on the slippery slope to hell and it'll make no nevermind to me) BTW - liking your new avatar Teri --- it's so .... so ... so .... well, it's so ... TERI
They pretty much have the same thing in Poland. If something is hardcover its usually done without a DJ, the art is on the book cover itself. And all the English book stores usually carry only a very few new releases in HC (uk versions most of the time) and the rest is just pb's.
So I'm glad just like you that I order everything online. I miss being able to walk into a book store and just but stuff from the shelves. Had a borders real close to me in NJ. Ahhh the comforts we take for granted.
