The hunt for red october and silence of the lambs are the first two I'm looking at doing. I just want to protect them as they are in pretty good condition right now. I have a couple bigger books that I want to prevent spine lean and bowing of the text block on. The site I saw makes them for $50 and up. I think that when cd and other places sell theirs for 25-30, 50 is to high. I can make one myself for about 15-20 if I priced it right and they would be fitted to my book. Unfortunately CDs offerings aren't the right size otherwise I would buy those.

TLDR - I think 25-30 would be fair. A little more if the slipcase is on the larger side.

I'm curious what books and what do you think a fair price for a plain slipcase would be.

CD has a few different sized I believe. Plain colored slipcases. I could be wrong about multiple sizes though, maybe theyre all standard trade size.

    started a topic Slipcases

    Slipcases

Does anyone know of a place to get custom slipcases (I've seen on place but $50 seems to high) or a place that sells slipcases in many different sizes? I have some books I would love slipcases for but I haven't had any luck finding places that sell them. I have been thinking about making them myself if it comes to that but my skills with stuff like that isn't very good.
Working...
