    I hear that. There are some good deals there, including Rich Chizmar's A Long December, but I already had it on order.

    I picked up the limited pulp tribute Dead on the Bones by Joe Lansdale and the trade Best of Alastair Reynolds for about $40. 50% off plus no shipping was too tempting for me to pass.

    I'd like to read it, as I really enjoy Hirshberg's work, but I just can't summon up the wherewithal to read that much text off a screen, particularly my PC. Hopefully it'll show up in his next print collection.

    Wednesday Glen Hirshberg released a free 15,000 word story hosted at tor.com. I liked it quite a bit and am still thinking about the ending an hour later.
