I had to pass. I spent my money on a nice collection of vintage Manly Wade Wellman paperbacks.

Nice! I love me some Manly Wade Wellman. Did you by chance see the Complete John the Balladeer set offered by Haffner Press? If not, you should check out the link below. This is one that I had to preorder.

Thanks, I did order the Haffner edition. I also have the Arkham and The Night Shade collection, which I think might have been the best thing they put out. I also have the first Ballantine edition of Who Fears the Devil. I'll share a picture when they get in. It was a great deal.

Picked up two books in the recent sale - Voodoo Heart by John Everson (on sale) and the anthology of Lovecraft mythos stories in their Gothic Fantasy line (not on sale).

I mentioned in an earlier post that I had picked up a lot of Manly Wade Wellman paperbacks and here they are. You'll notice in the first picture, which are the lot that I bought, That Who Fears The Devil is not a Berkley edition. That worked out fine, because I already owned that copy and it's showing in the second picture. Really happy to have stumbled across these in such good, not perfect, shape LOL!!

Good lord, but jealousy can be an ugly thing.

Congrats anyway on a beautiful lot!

Thanks Ron, I think they're pretty neat. Mid 1980's artwork.
