Congrats Mr. Wootton. Now I will pm you my home address so you can have them send it to me to save you on your shipping. I do have an empty spot in my bookcase that needs filling.
Congrats Grant but goddamn just the same . I key in a $500 maximum bid two days earlier and stayed so long as the top bidder that I was so confident of getting the item, I did not get up to watch the final rounds of bidding (1am here in Malaysian time was the bidding deadline). That's ebay newbie for ya.
Thanks guys - and, sorry to you too Sunny - the only difference between you and I is that I set the alarm for 2:30am local time so I was all caffeined up and raring to go at 3am local when the auction ended (1am your time). Believe me, you can never be confident that a maximum bid will sit too long on an item like this, particularly having the bid in so darn early - two days before the close is way too early. My advice, FWIW, go in late, go in hard (with the max you're prepared to spend) then cross your fingers and hope for the best Oh, and love KL too, my partner and I visited in January this year - Awesome !!!!
