I was only interested in the McCammon lettered editions. The prices were good but not super low so I kept my money also. Kudos to Bill for giving the proceeds to charity.

I was surprised how fast this sold out as well. I’d never heard of the series either. I wound up passing—too many books coming out right now!—but it looks like a fun read.

Glad you snagged a copy, too! It was a 5am order for me but I’m glad I let a rare impulsive buy rule the morning. Between this 5am order and waking up early on Sunday for the Centipede newsletter and potential ordering, it’s tough being a small-press customer on West coast time...

Hopefully it’ll be released soon, so that I can give you my thoughts. I also have to say, along with Scalzi, it also reminded me of Robert Cargill’s novel (up top), which I enjoyed.

If I don’t like it it should be pretty easy to flip, based on the rapid sell-out.

Amazing how fast a(n apparently very) popular title can sell out, even with premium pricing...I mean, that’s “Centipede fast!”

Sub Press is offering grab bags today if anyone is interested. My grab bag dats are behind me for now, but they’re great deals for those who can take advantage of them.

The Shining was the first SK book I ever purchased, back in the early '80s. It's pretty beat up too, but I still have it.

I don't get The Shining either. It's a pretty beat up copy.

Can I just point out that someone has bid up THE SHINING paperback up to $24.50? Is there something I'm missing here?
