Don't get me wrong, if/when it does ever come out, I will be green with jealousy as it is definitely a book that I would want; however, after seeing all of the twists and setbacks with this novel, I think having it on my pre-order list and it being that overdue would make my head explode, (have a few from CD in the 4-5 year range and they make me anxious enough as is).
I wouldn't sweat missing it. If --and, man, that's a big IF -- it ever comes out, CD limiteds -- save for King and a few select others -- rarely increase on the aftermarket, so it should be easy to pick up a copy.

That's what I tell myself, anyhow, since I skipped its preorder waayy back when as well. I have just two preorders with CD right now, and that's the way it's going to stay until I have them both in hand.

Definitely need to read it now. Also doesn't hurt to have the Ligotti sig. I've always enjoyed Ligotti's stuff and wish he published more frequently.
Thanks, I'm really looking forward to finally reading this one as well. I toyed over the years with the idea of grabbing the Millipede tpb (or the more recent Valancourt tpb) to just read the thing, but held out with the belief, I guess, that if I gave up on someday reading in the Millipede/Centipede HC, the Book Gods would never send a HC copy my way. Apparently my strategy paid off..it just took a decade or so. The Book Gods have a way of testing one's patience to make sure you're worthy.

What a great Newsletter this week. I'm really looking forward to Charles L. Grant/Robert Chambers/M.R. James MOWT! Of course, talk of another Bradbury title is very exciting. Powers of Darkness sounds very interesting....

Yes, a great news letter indeed. I'm very excited to see the Centipede treatment of "Frankenstein with the Bernie Wrightson illustrations and the Stephen King introduction."

I've been eyeballing one of the Dark Horse Comics editions of Frankenstein with Wrightson's illustrations, but at about $200+ a copy I think I'm going to wait for Centipede's version. Yeah, it'll probably be a lot more money, but I think it'll look much better than what DHC has done. I know the current version is smaller in size, so maybe that will become a good reading copy (I've never read Frankenstein before . . .)

Also that Powers of Darkness edition sounds awesome. I can't remember where I first heard about it (it could have been in one of Jerad's old newsletters) but I'm definitely onboard for that one too.

I think I've posted this before - but Nakatomi did a really sweet portfolio of Wrightson's work from Cycle of the Werewolf - https://store.nakatomiinc.com/cycleo...tfolioset.aspx - I snagged one a few years ago during a Black Friday sale at 50% off (I they've raised the price since then too.) It's really well done. They also have quite a few really nice prints of his work that I'm always tempted to buy.

ETA: It does look like the Kickstarter price on these prints was $175, and their store eventually sold them for $200 - https://www.nakatomiinc.com/2017/03/...now-available/ - I think I paid either $100 or $150, so a bargain compared to today's price. Plus there was a really sweet wooden box version - https://www.nakatomiinc.com/2016/10/...ition-in-hand/

That is a nice set. I picked one up during a 50%-off sale too. I think I paid $75.

The two titles are the signed & numbered HCs of THE TENANT by Roland Topor (signed by Thomas Ligotti (intro.)) and MADBALL by Fredric Brown (signed by Dick Adler (intro.)). I hope to have pics of both up on Twitter within the next week.
                        THE TENANT went up today:

I absolutely agree with you all about Nakatomi's CYCLE OF THE WEREWOLF portfolio. I don't know why, but at the time of the kickstarter, there was some bitching about it at the DT.org forums. Can't remember why. Price, I think. I also picked this up on one of their half price sales years ago, and I still consider it one of my favorite "bargains". It's a lovely presentation with the prints on thick, beautiful paper, signed & numbered by Wrightson on a full-size limitation sheet, including nicely printed lunar calendar and chapbook of Wrightson art. In a nice box, too! I even sprung for the (regular, wall-hanging) calendar, and fossil pin- both very nice quality. Really, it's one of my favorite packages.

And, yes- A Centipede CYCLE would be amazing. It's one of those projects- perfect melding of concept, story and art- that needs a great package. Yeah, Chris Zavisa did a great job on it all those years ago, but- it's time for a another edition!

That cover has a cool illusion of movement. I like it.

It’s truly an interesting material that was used.
