That is a bummer. Last I had heard you had something you were working on, sounds like it died on the vine.

Yeah, that was most likely this project. Down the road, I might share some more about what happened. Not sure. It was a super frustrating situation, though!

I'd be interested if you're willing to share and have the time.

I'll have to think about how to share the info without giving away the project because it could be guessed if I say too much, and I'll definitely be working with one of the authors involved in the future, and it wasn't his fault things didn't work out, ha... I'll contemplate how for another day!

Gotcha. Maybe better left unsaid. Sometimes, dead is better......
I just read the newsletter in regards to 1984 from Suntup and I think it's great. I had already ordered/reserved a copy from Camelot but I love the offer. I think that's a great way to do business these days. Kudos to Letterpress for offering something that gives folks on a budget an opportunity to own a cool book.

I just placed my order for the Artist Gift Edition of “1984” through LPP. I like having this option to pre-order with or without payment in advance, and I’m happy to support Mr. Freeman’s company. I also ordered Fahrenheit 451 from LPP previously and these will be my first Suntup books. I appreciate Letterpress adding them to their store and hope future gift editions will be offered also.
Brian, was the above referenced newsletter (today) only for certain folks (who may have ordered Suntup books through you previously?), because I didn't receive an LRP newsletter today. I did get the one under your byline re: The Girl Who Builds Monsters.

The only book I've ordered directly through LPP is 20th Century Ghosts and I got the email about 1984. Did you check spam?

Thanks. Yeah, I've only ordered 20th Century Ghosts as well. Nothing in spam. I've had problems with their email specifically. I seem to get, like- every 3rd one, or something.

Hey, sorry! I stopped getting notifications about this thread for some reason, and totally missed your question.
That newsletter went out to everyone on the LPP list, but I also just recently switched to a new newsletter service, so I should have posted a note and asked folks to check their spam. I will remember on the next mailing!
