Glimpses by Lewis Shiner (Earthling Modern Classics Series)

Has anyone read the trade edition of this book? Any thoughts?

I've been torn about picking it up since Earthling announced it. I've recently started collecting their Modern Classics Series as everything they've published in that line is within my realm of interest. This one is a little outside my normal reading interests, so I'm iffy about dropping the money on the limited. Any feedback would be appreciated!
