Black Labyrinth Book II - Joe R. Lansdale - Prisoner 489 launch

A launch event for Lansdale's new novella, Prisoner 489 of the Dark Regions Black Labyrinth series, is being held at the iconic horror bookstore Dark Delicacies on November 5th in Burbank, CA., with Mr. Lansdale in attendance.

Anyone else from the forum planning on attending?

When I first saw the note I got excited thinking the event would be at their offices in Portland, but my excitement was short lived.

Yeah we're putting it on at Dark Delicacies this time as Joe is passing through and doing two signings down there: this solo one for Prisoner 489 and another at Mystery & Imagination on November 6th with other authors like William F. Nolan, Dennis Etchison, Cody Goodfellow, etc. for Jason Brock's new anthology A Darke Phantastique. I will have a Facebook event page up for the Lansdale Dark Delicacies signing very soon. Del is putting up a pre-order page for the book as well anytime now. I think Jason Brock is putting up an event page for his signing soon as well.

I am also hosting a big author signing event in Salem, OR. next month on October 25th at the Book Bin Lancaster from 7pm - 9pm. Joe Lansdale won't be at this one but William Nolan, Elizabeth Engstrom, Alan M. Clark, Bruce Holland Rogers, David Barker, Jason Brock, Edward Morris, Jeff Burk, Eraserhead Press, Dark Regions Press, and others will be at this one. I do have a FB event page up for this one already and it is: https://www.facebook.com/events/1557676411129134/ . Hopefully you can make it this one Martin!

James, Somehow I missed this when you originally posted it. Book Bin is a great place for a multi-author signing, lots of room by the coffee shop. Sorry I missed it!

Orders open up today for PRISONER 489. The art is completed finally and the books are at the printer and will be done soon (but remember the cased editions of course always take a bit longer due to having to fit the books, etc. to them). Already the 3 HC editions are 60% gone due to the Campain so if you haven't grabbed one that way, now is the time! A ripping good, brand new horror novella by hisownself Joe R. Lansdale. Here's an event page up for info on Facebook:

And here's the store page too:

Chris says they are already 93% sold out now of all 3 signed HC editions. Only 1 copy of the Ultra Shadow Tome left now too. They all might be gone by tonight at this rate so don't miss out on grabbing one while you can!

All of the signed/limited HC editions are now sold out of PRISONER 489. I believe Cemetery Dance will be carrying some copies of it as well as some other specialty stores. So you may still be able to grab a copy from one of them if you haven't already.

There are paperbacks and ebooks of it for sale if you just want to read it and/or you missed out on the signed/limiteds.

I really enjoyed this book. Read the free e-book edition. Congratulations on the sell out.
