I see on the Valancourt Books website that they will be republishing Robert Bloch’s first collection, The Opener of the Way.

According to Bloch’s website, this will be the first of several projects coming out from Valancourt Books.

I'm late to the party on Valancourt. I owned a few of their books, but after reading the 4th VALANCOURT BOOK OF HORROR STORIES I just fell into a rabbit hole, and I've been buying up their stuff like crazy. They have great e-book sales in every newsletter, so if you're an e-reader, you should sign up. Really looking forward to the Bloch book.

I'm reading Valancourt's reissue of J.B. Priestly's BENIGHTED from 1927, which was filmed by James Whale as THE OLD DARK HOUSE. Strange book....I'm 2/3rds of the way through, and the book has zero plot (Aside from strangers trapped in a weird family's mansion during a storm), and nothing has happened so far, but as a character study, it's a lot of fun.
