Me either. Delays are all part of life. Something that too many people don't understand. When it gets here it gets here.

Again not too concerned, I figured January was going to be around the time of release when they said they were having some delays.

Nor am I. A small press missing a deadline is common.

    Latest newsletter:

The Shining (Stephen King) is progressing nicely at both printers. We've already suffered a few bumps along the way, which mean the book won't make its November deadline. We'll update you as soon as we have more information.

Well, looks like this won't be coming out in November. Latest e-mail from Sub Press says that there's been a few bumps at the printers and that they will update when they have more info.

November is what it says on their site.

Yea and don't forget Joy Land. Plus all the King related books. Been an expensive year for King collectors. I think Doctor Sleep sold out so fast due to it being the sequel to such a popular book and people really wanting to see what Danny has been up to.

I think it is the combination of the cover art (the original cover art, which prompted some people to cancel their orders), as well as the fact that it is $95 for a gift edition of an older book. IT was even more expensive, but it was also MUCH longer of a book. I also think if Doctor Sleep weren't coming out this year, as well as the releases of the Christine and Pet Semetary limited editions they might have had a more successful time with selling out of the gift edition. Just too many King limited for most collectors I would assume, so people had to choose between them.
