My short story "Smells Like" hasn't gotten the attention it deserves. It's a great short and one I plan on expanding into a novel at some point in the future and it could really use a boost in the arm via review. Here's the description:
Helena is a widow, recently remarried . But the accidental death of her first husband never set right with her self-described 'parapsychic' ability. When residents begin reporting a sea monsters around Red Deer Lake the authorities ignore them. Though they can't ignore people dying in a town that hasn't had a suspicious death in over thirty years, no one except Helena makes a connection between the sea monster and the deaths. And she's suspects this all ties into her first husband's disappearance.
I only have PDF copies to give, but if you are interested and have the time, PM an email address!
