This will be my third Lonely Road publication! Looking forward to it.
I've also been thinking about The Fall, but I too missed out on The Strain and don't think I can afford both right now.

I was thinking about it (and still am!). Although I would like it to be something I don't already have in another form.

Stepping away from the computer to self punch myself in the face for not getting this one!

Totally want a Lonely Road book! Had a chance for The Fall, but decided to pass since I don't have The Strain. (or enough money to get it off the after market + The Fall)

I'm actually looking over design options for the two DJs right now, so hopefully that will be locked in and I can show them off in my April update.

    Today's update:

    http://www.lonelyroadbooks.com/news.html

"The book is designed and being proofread now. We're still right on track for a summer publication date.

As I mentioned last time, originally I planned on having 6 color artwork plates in this special edition, but Caniglia went overboard and turned in 13 (!) color pieces, so I'm breaking the budget and adding all of them to the book.

In addition, Mr. Blatty has provided an introduction and an afterword that won't be appearing in any other edition, so those have been added to the Lonely Road Books special edition as an unannounced bonus.

Finally, there's also a special unannounced bonus for the Lettered Edition customers: because Caniglia turned in so much extra artwork, there will be entirely different artwork on the Lettered Edition's dust jacket.

I'll post more news as I have it, but you can also always email me if you have any questions."

Okay, I know I totally missed out on this, and I asked to be placed on a waiting list. But, if you receive one of these books totally f'd up, pages crinkled, cover smooshed, just totally unsaleable, I will buy it at a reasonable price determined by CD. Just throwing that out there.

I saw a couple Koontz limiteds at Betts and damn near bought one. But again, since my main concern is collectibility, I bought a couple signed King books instead.

And like I said previously, I do admire them and they're awesome to look at, so it's not all about money for me. If it was I'd be selling them all, but as of now, I only sold Desperation and The Colorado Kid because the latter was very small and I think I got sent a freak copy and it's probably worth a lot more than I got for it (just $200).
