OK I cracked after ordering this a few days ago I discovered I had some points to use at amazon.Last night I broke down and bought the trade edition.So I guess this
will be another series that I end up owning both trade and limited editions of.Time to build more book shelves.

Yep budgets do suck. However I went wild last year with books and I have to rein in the spending this year. I have a goal this year of buying a 1st 1st of The Gunslinger and for this to happen I need to save my cash.

Ordered this one with my coupon yesterday.I had not heard about this till I received the e-mail and the book sounds great.I was lucky to get in on the passage also.If
you go to amazon and look up this book you will be able toread an interview with the author conducted by justin cronin.This looks like a fun project.Great work again

Oh, nevermind, turns out I did get the e-mail, but it just didn't show up in my in-box or priority box on gmail. Added a folder for all my order confirmation from CD, but when I created it the e-mails would still show up in the inbox and priority box even though it was in my order confirmation folder. This time it didn't show up anywhere other than where it was originally meant for. Almost forgot I even had that set up since I've never had to go there to see the new messages

I would have to agree. Had to check the order history part of the main page to make sure it went through, and sure enough it's listed there. And I got the thank you screen after placing the order

Amazon had a note that says it will actually be in stock on Jan 27th. I "assume" that means they would ship then, but who knows.

I also missed out on The Passage and jumped at this one. The trade HC comes out on 12 Feb, so I'll probably go for that too.
