Got myself a copy of Killing Ghost with today's coupon. Would prefer to have gotten a different one (Or another really since I want both), but couldn't afford that one even with 50% off.

Used the coupon to order Relic, Killing ghost, Amazonas and The Back of Beyond. Hmmm... told myself I'd try to cut down on the number of books I would buy because of some financial obligations (including a new car) that are coming up. I need to try a little bit harder.

lol, I know the feeling! If I was single and not married I'd have bought Amazonas and the 15 year CD story collection, which would have definitely been worth the price for the signed edition.

lol, I wish. Once our money is more secure (as in getting a better paying job) I'll be putting money aside for that and hopefully something like the Knowing Darkness art book. Amazonas and maybe Back of Beyond (though I haven't read that one yet) I'll probably end up getting on the secondary market at some point, but I have the ARCs which is fine for now.

I suppose I could have gotten it and finished off my gift certificate and I would have spent less money than I did on Killing Ghost, but I am doing my best to hold on to the certificate until The Twelve is announce (I sure hope that is soon, lol). We'll see what I get for Christmas, might get lucky and get a gift certificate for Christmas, though the 50% off coupon won't be good anymore lol

I actually do have enough money in the bank to buy any book I want right now within reason (which means no lettered editions) since I have already ordered almost every book I am interested in that is on the preorder page. Only a small number I haven't ordered that are on that page, with only Amazonas and the 15 year CD book being books I know I'd be interested in. Waiting on more info for Shocklines and need to read Gideon's Sword before I know whether I want Gideon's Corpse. But, even though I actually have the money I can't just spend it how I want to.
