Allriiight !!!! The first of the 2.0 freebies is the Chadbourne calendar (sorry, CD, I know it's "your" calendar, but Glenn's artwork - SEN-FREAKING-SATIONAL !!!!)
By the way, between 9/19/11 (the early bird special) and 10/24/11 (today), there has been $690.99 worth of specials not counting the dust jacket discount (since it's hard to put a value on that one). Not a bad start to the club, in my opinion!
Did we not paid postage for CDCC when we signed up for it?
You did for the Garton book! From the product page:
"Shipping applies to all orders including those for free items. The shipping charge on your CDCC membership order is the shipping for the Not For Sale book."
Here's an answer about the shipping question I missed a while back, sorry about that!
Postage was actually paid *upfront* for the previous CDCC in one big payment, which meant we had to guess at the postage amount long before we had any idea what the items would weigh. This should hopefully make the postage costs a lot more accurate.
Plus, for the people who did not want certain items like the signed Limited Edition Art Print, now they don't have to worry about "what to do" with those items. We heard from more than enough people who didn't want the t-shirt or the artwork, in particular. But a lot of people loved those items, so we didn't want to drop them completely!
Members of the CDCC, please check your email today -- you should be getting a VERY IMPORTANT update about your first free item! If you do not see that email within an hour, please let me know via email!
