I just saw this on my 2'nd pile, before the big pile, but not the biggest pile, outside the bookcases, in my third storage room.
I'll pick it up next time I'm passing through.

Thanks for sharing your reaction to 104, also. It's cool when image placement can add something to how readers react to the story!

Spoiler! The first piece is from page 17, I find eyes in odd places to always have a certain level of creepiness. The second piece is from page 105, as I turned the page to 104 my eyes naturally drifted to the picture before reading any of the words and it looks like a dog simply scratching to be let out. When you get to page 106 however and read the line, "The dog was not alone in that study" the picture's meaning changes into something a bit more haunting.

After putting the book down I was reminded of a story I've heard about how Anthony Hopkins won the best actor award for The Silence of the Lambs with only 16 minutes of screen time. I've never timed it myself, but the same effect takes place within this book. What would be Dr. Sibley's "screen time" is small yet his influence over the other characters is so strong that he permeates each page of this collection.
The art is also well done with two pieces in particular standing out to me but they are best discovered in the context of the story.
