It does look like a very nice book, but I have to draw the line somewhere.
Maybe if the BIG announcement (one hour and a half to go..) is smaller than I thought it would be....

I hope you like the arc. I thought they where pretty cool. We just sent out arcs for this and Smoke and Mirrors to the reviewers yesterday, these two books are going to be seriously big. Think Secretary of Dreams, except twice as thick.

Got the ARC of this myself on Monday, definitely looks very nice and is definitely a big book! Might be a while before I check it out more though (But I definitely will check it out more), more interested in some of the other ARCs I got with it right now. Never actually read a screenplay before, so not sure if I'll like reading them or not yet. Didn't stop me from buying Storm of the Century though, lol, just haven't read that one yet either
WARNING!!! WARNING!!! DO NOT VIEW THIS SPOILER! YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!!

This one is finally headed to the printer next month! I think you'll be blown away when you see the sheer size of the book. That's something that's been hard to quantify in words. Picture The Secretary of Dreams, but with about twice the number of pages!

For those who bought the Lettered Edition, here is color frontis that Glenn Chadbourne painted for that edition:

For those who missed the news, Screamplays and Smoke & Mirrors are both at the printer and should be done around the end of April. It's hard to describe how large these books are, but they are 400 to 500 pages long and the same trim size as The Secretary of Dreams if that helps. They're going to look amazing.

FYI: The signed Limited Edition of Smoke & Mirrors is signed by Neil Gaiman, William Peter Blatty, Joe Hill, Stewart O'Nan, Frank Darabont, William F. Nolan, Brian Keene & Michael Oliveri, Poppy Z. Brite, Kealan Patrick Burke, Mick Garris, Ray Garton, Joe R. Lansdale, and Richard Chizmar… and we only have a few copies left for reservation.

This may be a dumb question, but I ordered the book in 2009. It's safe to assume my order is still in the database? I still have the email receipt. Can't wait to finally get it!
